3LC profiles and interviews exceptional individuals in the food, design, and lifestyle (as interpreted through the camera lens). A particular emphasis is placed on minorities, women, and recently launched individuals in the design field in order to give an additional outlet of visibility for their work. And of course there is always a place for the affirmed industry leaders...
Content is produced from as many different places around the world as funds permit... So if you think that that looks like Bondi Beach in one picture, or a golf course in Nashville, Tennessee, or the tablecloths at Jing Fong, or hey, that's that cool ring you saw during London Design Festival, you're right!! Have tripod, will travel!
The photography on the site from its launch through May 2007 was a combination of personal and stock photography from iStockphoto. Since May 2007, all photos are my own. All photography on the site which is not mine is duly credited. Photographic equipment used: Nikon D200, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, Nikon 50mm f/1.8, Tamron 90mm, and the Nikon 17-35mm and Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 zooms. Most of the food photography since May 2007 is done with the Tamron 90mm Macro lens.
Funding for this site comes from freelance work in the food, design, and lifestyle industry. But don't worry, there are no conflicts of interest.
