Some things are too good to keep to yourself.  Designer Hervé Matejewski's lamps fall into that category.  In a corner stand at Maison & Objet, his flawlessly constructed feather lamps stood out among the crowd.  This is every girly-girl's lamp.  Light and airy, feminine and over the top, they are definitely a mate for this season's high-end design color palette, whether it's the black base colors of soft furnishings or the retro greens, yellows, and oranges, mat&jewski feather lamps are the icing on the cake.  totem4.pngAvailable in floor, table, and suspended, the color choice is vast.

In his collection are also toile and other print shades, sequined shades, lace shades, and performated aluminum.  The shapes range from tradition to cubes.  His favorite creation, however, is Totem, a perforated aluminum floor lamp with colored light shining through like a clear starry night sky.

Lamps just happen to be his specialty, but he also designs fabrics and furniture.

Stay tuned to 3LC in March for an interview with Hervé.
