Christian's Three Layer Cake

What food/dessert best describes your work?
Maybe a Jawbreaker, it looks like a challenge but is worth the effort.

What would you like it to be in five years?
In the future I would like to be Crème Brulee, hard on the outside and sweet on the inside.

The first thing you notice in a restaurant.
The light!

Eating what food brings back the best memories?
Christmas Pudding, my Mum makes a killer and she’s the best!

If you could put together a dream team to design your next home, who would you choose and for what aspects?
Zaha Hadid to design the building itself and my pal Hetti Perkins to do the interior because she has truly classic taste. I would get my Dad to help me landscape the yard with plants from our country and also because he is stronger than me!!

The first piece of art you hung in your home?
Technically I have never had my own home but I am moving into a flat when I get back to Melbourne I think I would love to hang either a painting by my Grandfather or a work called ‘FUNeral’ which I bought off my pal David Keating!

The Institution you’d love to leave your mark on.
">I scribbled ‘I waz ere 2005’ on the Eiffel Tower when I was in Paris, in fact I think I have left that mark on many things! Hee hee

[Editor's comment:  Christian, SHAME ON YOU!]

Magazine you can’t live without.

Celebrity you’re inexplicably intrigued by.Judy Davis
