The Feeding of the 5000

The title has nothing to do with the post.  It’s just that every time I see fish, that’s what I think of.  I am sure I’ll be using that title again sometime soon.

So what have you been up to lately?  I haven’t been up to much lately except managing my investment income. Oh, and I got a new iMac.  (Seventeen days before the new iMacs were released.)  I still haven’t had time to get photoediting software though.  So all you see here is two fish on a beautiful fish platter.  For what it’s worth, it took me about three weeks to figure out how to resize that front page/above photo.  And I am still working between two computers, which is a drag because I have to run back and forth with a portable hard drive and try to remember what it is I am supposed to be copying.

I have been setting up a ’studio’ here in the house, or at least trying to.  This way I have a separate space for all my crap and  have been spending my time here since I have no friends, except Crash! and Zizou to keep me company.  More Crash! than Zizou though.  And Steve Perry.

It precipitated for about 6 months straight here, and that really put a crimp in my style and my everything else, including my hair.  But it appears as though the sun is out for a bit, and that means with the nice days good light, and with the good light, more opportunities for photography.  But it also means temptation to fly off to some other fairy tale world whenever there are cheap fares…  I will try to stay put though and invest some time and effort into keeping the website on a regular schedule.

Remember, you can always see the In The Kitchen With column each Friday at design*sponge.  And, more shameless self promotion, I will have some prints for sale at the Incredible Print Show at Artstream Studios from 1 May – 15 June (if the prints don’t get lost in the mail).

In the meantime, keep the emails coming.  It makes me feel as though I have friends, other than the four-legged kind.  OH!  And join Crash!’s group on Facebook!!!  He really appreciates all the support he has gotten to date.  So do I.
